Common/Contract Carrier Liability

We represent cargo liability insurers and carriers, brokers, freight forwarders and other transportation intermediaries as well as shippers in connection with common, contract and specialty carrier matters involving interstate, intrastate and international shipments by land, air and sea, including matters governed by the Interstate Commerce Act, the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act, the Warsaw Convention and other such statutes. We also represent our clients in connection with trip lease and long term lease matters, as well as claims relating to federal and state bond filings. We have drafted shipper-carrier and broker-carrier agreements. Because of our expertise and knowledge in the areas of transportation liability, we have served as selected arbitrators in transportation law and damage matters.
